A routine holiday for Grandfather and his canine sidekick Roo turns into an adventure when the two meet up with an old ship captain friend and join him on an expedition to find the Door to the Sea, the entranceway to the Forgotten Sea, and the Great Cod Bank. Sailing aboard the good ship Unsinkable, the intrepid explorers endure high waves, tall tales, and deteriorating table manners. Finally, the adventurous trio reaches their destination, pulling in boatloads of codfish and haddock with their nets, all the while keeping an eye out for a glimpse of the mighty King Cod himself. Then disaster strikes and the Unsinkable is sinking! Grandfather and Roo abandon ship. But how will they find their way out of the briny deep now that they are lost at sea?
